Desert Margarita
When it’s sunny and warm, I don’t think there is anything better than a great Margarita. I love the salty, sweet, yet tart flavors. Every time I travel to the desert, one of the first things I do is go to the store to get supplies to make my amazing Desert Margarita recipe. I keep it simple, but it’s so delicious. I know lots of people like to blend their Margaritas, but I prefer to keep the drink straight on the rocks. My secret to a great margarita is using light agave nectar. Agave nectar is an all-natural sugar replacement from the agave plant. This is the perfect way to sweeten a margarita since Tequila is also made from an agave plant.
Next time you have a great Mexican inspired meal or it’s sunny out, give my Desert Margaritas a try!
