Floating Home Staged

Since relaunching my Home Staging career I have had some amazing opportunities to stage some great and interesting homes. A few have been floating homes and this one on the east side of Lake Union was the first one I staged earlier this year.

Located almost at the end of the dock and nicely updated it was a fun little project. A nice neutral palette let me use subtle nautical themes to really showcase a lifestyle on the water.

The thing that most don’t think about with Home Staging is that I’m not just setting up the furniture to make the space look pretty, I also have to haul everything in so 50% of my job is being a “mover”. Since this home was near the end of the dock, my apple watch logged many miles of walking back and forth hauling every piece into and then out of the home.

This home sold with multiple offers within days of hitting the market.
